Tannery Environmental Supervisor
Summary: Accountable for leadership and oversight of facility?s EPA, local and state regulated environmental programs, including, but not limited to: Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act, Resource Conservation Recovery Act, the Oil Pollution Act, Land Application Permit; and the facility?s Environmental Sustainability initiative.
Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for the effective operation and mechanics of the wastewater treatment system and the #2 grease system. 2. Expertise and accountability in the Federal/State/Local regulations governing the company?s Environmental compliance requirements. 3. Accountable for development, implementation and continuance of the facility?s Environmental Sustainability program, including Water Conservation, Waste Minimization, Energy Efficiency programs. 4. Responsible for the record collection, record keeping and reporting requirements of all EPA / State regulated environmental programs. 5. Continuous cost optimization of all environmental programs. 6. Be the Point-of-Contact for employees, regulators and all levels of government, concerning Wastewater operations and Environmental issues.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of Environmental management experience in EPA regulated programs Minimum 3 years Wastewater treatment plant operation experience (preferred) Previous Supervisory experience State / Federal Wastewater operator license(s) (preferred) 4 year college degree (preferred)
