Overland Park, KSADM Animal Nutrition, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Company, is an industry leader in the manufacture of extruded treats and foods for the companion animal market. We are looking to further expand our private label business segment, therefore, we are currently searching for a Technical Sales Manager to help us grow. Detailed responsibilities for this position include: Overall business management of the private label product offering to existing and new customers.Extensive interaction with our forward facing sales partner(s) to ensure alignment with ADM strategies and goals.Coordination and collaboration with production teams at all locations to optimize throughput and meet customer requirements.Collaborate and utilize other ADM Animal Nutrition resources (purchasing, formulations, QA, logistics, regulatory, etc.) to further grow the private label platform.Communicate to management all strategies, obstacles, solutions and results on a frequent basis.Incorporate ADM?s extensive ingredient portfolio, across divisions, to enhance the private label offering and internal synergies. Requirements for this position include: Bachelor?s degree in Business or Animal Science with 5+ years? experience in sales or product management, preference given to those with an understanding of the companion animal industry.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work and communicate with a wide scale of internal and external customers.Competent with Microsoft Office applications; an understanding of Oracle is desired.Ability to travel overnight on occasion to visit key accounts or prospects.
