We are expanding the growth of our business and are actively recruiting for Technical Sales Representatives to work in Southeastern Virginia. Our Sales Reps work from a home office and cover local territories, so overnight travel is rarely required. Interested candidates should have a BS or higher in an Agronomy / Agriculture related field, and ideally, 2 or more years of experience as a Sales Representative in the Agricultural sector (Crop Protection, Fertilizers, Seeds being sold directly to farms and plant growers). You should have good knowledge of crop techniques and should live in the Southeastern Virginia area (or be willing to relocate at your own expense and have strong knowledge of agriculture and soil conditions in Virginia). Individuals with existing relationships with the farming community in their area and knowledge of Agriculture Chemicals (along with a natural sales ability) are also encouraged to apply. You should have knowledge in one or more of one of the following areas: Agriculture/Farming, Agronomy, or Animal Nutrition. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will promote the full range of our products (Biostimulants, Specialty Fertilizers, etc.) to clients (farmers, growers, end-users) in close liaison with our local distributors. Your mission will be to prospect and drive long-term relationships with the farmers and distributors in your assigned territory and implement sales operations as directed by the Regional Manager.
