Wecurrently have a Technical Service Representative position available at ourSGS facility and can be located in the Great Plains Area (Western NE toNorthern CO). SUMMARYThis position provides technical leadership, support, direction and training for a specific agronomic growing area or within designated key strategic geographies for a defined proprietary, PHT or priority product line for Simplot Grower Solutions. This role is pivotal in assisting SGS Management in achieving its long-term customer, market and business objectives through commitment, leadership and innovation. This position is critical as Simplot Grower Solutions strives to continue being an industry leader by providing customer-focused products and services through the effective and efficient utilization of both human and capital resources. RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible and accountable for the mentoring, training, technical competency and personal development of SGS Crop Advisors, Independent Crop Advisors, Corporate/Large farm Crop Advisors/Agronomists and Supplier Field Development personnel within the geographic area.Develops strategic direction and training programs for proprietary, PHT and priority products within geographic area plus creates forecasts, business plans and monitors performance. Contributes to incentive plans, pricing strategies, marketing plans and administration of SAMI programs to field personnel within the geographic area.Responsible and accountable for achieving key product financial targets and sales goals as determined by SGS Management. Maximize and manage overall sales and business development activities within designated geographic area. In conjunction with Agronomic Service team members and PHT Management implement marketing strategies, training sessions, sales presentations and demonstration trials.Provides guidance and input for procurement, inventory and budgetary projects. Offers input, direction and evaluation of research objectives and product development projects plus support to the entire Agronomic Services and PHT team. REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree from 4 year college or universityFive plus years related experience and/or trainingExtensive Agronomic knowledge and knowledge of PHT and Specialty productsAbility to bring value to the field staff by teaching marketing and sales skills development to othersSales and marketing abilities. Ability to influence others to improve skills. Certificates: Current CCA is preferredCombination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position.
