This includes the unloading and loading of rail cars and trucks, terminal maintenance, handling a variety of products and operating a variety of equipment. The incumbent will follow the Nutrien’s safety, health, environmental and security (SHE&S) policies to ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner.What you will do: Develop a personal safety culture by following Nutrien’s Principles and Priorities, use stop work authority & frequent structured pauses “20-20-20” dailyFollow all safe work practices/procedures and immediately identifies hazards to recommend and/or implements repairs; assist with safety assessments/audit corrective actionsPerform maintenance activities that include predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment to provide consistently high levels of plant reliability and productionInspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain mechanical equipment including but not limited to: Diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, conveyor belts and alignment, and rollersOperate a wide variety of construction equipment, frontend loader, skid steer, fork lift, man-lift, tractor, zero turn mower, various hand tools and perform rigging and stagingUse a maintenance reporting system to record time and material use, work orders, deferred maintenance, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, problems identified and corrected, and further actions required; provide complete history of maintenance on equipmentParticipates in construction projects as a Designated Safety Representative. Reads and interprets drawings, sketches, prints and specifications as requiredPerforms Operations tasks to maintain inventory control using variety of software programs to weigh trucks, load/unload Railcars and Semi-trucksWhat you will bring: High school diploma or equivalentValid Driver's License requiredGeneral mechanical, maintenance, and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with conveyors (belts/chains), rollers, rotating assemblies, and gear reducersExperience with heavy equipment operation such as a Frontend Loader, skid steer, forklift and tractorMust be proficient with Windows Microsoft applicationsGood verbal and written communication skillsA willingness to travel occasionally for training coursesAbility to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivatedA Team player attitude and be willing to learn all areasAbility to work some over time during busy season (March-May)Must be able to lift 50 poundsWelding experience is a plusAre you a good match?
