Territory Manager will achieve targeted sales and inventory goals in order to generate retails required for profitable company growth.? Position will effectively provide services that improve dealer sales force ability to grow CLAAS sales.? Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers as well as internal resources to ensure dealer satisfaction, retention and growth.Main Accountabilities and Essential FunctionsMonitors and achieves targeted retail sales.Develops, monitors and executes a territory management plan including timely and accurate submission retail forecasts, by dealer, in salesforce and in alignment with overall CLAAS strategies.Successfully determines and proactively communicates the best CFS finance solution(s) for customers and sales people.Continuously strengthens product and marketplace knowledge to improve sales results.Delivers highly effective field demonstrations to help dealer sales people close sales and convert customers.Provides timely and relevant dealer sales training and support that helps sales people better articulate the CLAAS value proposition and improves dealers? sales force capabilities.Attends, leads and assists with farm shows, expert camps, and other CLAAS promotional activities.Conducts accurate and timely inventory audits and equipment collections.Proactively communicates relevant and timely marketing, dealer, industry and product quality issues information to dealers that strengthens sales performance and the dealers? relationships with CLAAS.Effectively works with other CLAAS employees / departments to ensure quality after-sales support meets dealers? needs.Adheres to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follows and supports compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations and standards.Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.Additional FunctionsAccompany dealer salespersons on customer visits.Prepare periodic sales reports to include customer visits, quotes, demonstrations, lost sales, etc.Participate in and/or lead dealer customer events such as workshops, farm shows, etc.Assist in forecasting annual sales and budgeting for future years sales for assigned territory.Provide support in used equipment sales.Support retail finance activities for CLAAS Financial Services.Cooperatively works with Region Technical Managers (RTMs), Regional Distribution Development Managers (RDMs) and other CoA departments (Finance, Parts, Remarketing) to address opportunities that improve the quality of our distribution partners and the satisfaction of our customers.Other projects as assigned by management.Initiate / Implement support action as needed with management approval.Educational/Training RequirementsBachelors? Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Agriculture or related fieldExperience Requirements5+ years? sales experience at capital goods dealership level or experience in sales, marketing or distribution development capacity with capital goods manufacturer.Capital goods sales through 3rd party distribution channel background.Excellent negotiation skills with experience in B to C and B to B situations.Highly proven interpersonal skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Independent and self-motivated, with the right amount of ambition.Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.Proficient computer use including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel with operational experience in salesforce.Good fit into the European business culture.Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.Must have valid Passport & valid driver?s license with continuously acceptable driving historyApply for this job.
