Territory Manager, Crop Protection

DescriptionCorteva Agriscience is currently seeking a Territory Manager position responsible for central Minnesota. The Territory Manager representsCrop Protection to promote existing products and services, and preparecustomers for new technologies in an assigned territory. The TerritoryManager is the primary contact with retailer accounts and their salesorganization, and works innovatively in the territory to attain increasedlevels of support for crop protection products.  The Territory Manager cultivatesrelationships with key influencers in the territory, such as privateconsultants, key retail sales personnel and others in agronomic leadershippositions in the territory, and collaborates with the Corteva seed field salesorganization. Duties & responsibilitiesinclude:Builds and maintains relationshipswith retail accounts in alignment with area sales strategiesAligns sales performanceexpectations with retail accounts and delivers necessary technical skills andinformationCollaborates with retail accounts toeffectively communicate and deliver the value proposition of crop protectionproducts and services to meet customer needs  Develops retail account plans tomeet territory financial goalsEducates retailers and key influencerson the agronomic benefits of products and services Actively gathers and communicatesmarket trends, retail account needs and product gaps allowing commercial teamto create or modify product offerings and marketing programsServes as voice of customercommunicating retail feedback to commercial teamQualificationsMinimum of Bachelors degree is required, preferably in thefollowing areas: AgScience, Biology, Agronomy, Business/EconomicsMinimum 2-5 years of marketing and/or sales experiencePrevious sales experience and knowledge of crop
protection market desirable
