Territory Sales RepresentativeSeminis VegetablesGeorgia Seminis, a Vegetable division of Monsanto, is currently seeking a sales representative to join our Commercial sales team. The Sales Representative is an integral part of a dynamic sales team with the world's largest developer, grower and marketer of fruit and vegetable seeds. The primary responsibilities are to manage sales to assigned grower customers in the Eastern Georgia/South Carolina region. While candidate will primarily work from an office in their home, there will be some need/ability to work out of our Felda, FL office.   Daily responsibility includes:Assist grower customers with annual and quarterly ordersSet/meet annual sales targetsMaintain short and long term sales forecastsCollaborate with Customer Operations to track and fulfill orders  Sales responsibility also includes gathering information on changing market needs and communicating needs to Seminis product teams. In this role, you will work closely with Technology Development and Research & Development to identify and commercialize new hybrids, promote the Seminis product line to growers, shippers and processors, and use technical knowledge and good interpersonal skills to developsuccessful working relationships. Monsanto is the largest developer, grower and marketer of fruit and vegetable seeds in the world. It's amazing to consider that improving human health, promoting environmental stewardship and fostering greater economic growth for the agricultural community can all start with something as small as a seed. Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's Degree in a business or agriculture-related field, OR other level of education with 3+ years of experience in Ag-businessProven success developing strong, successful business relationships with customers as well as internal teammatesWillingness to travel extensively in-state; occasional regional and national travel Desired:Strong Knowledge of US vegetable markets Account management/Territory sales experience
