This position works closely with operations and accounting management to assure the maintenance of internal control procedures, standards and compliaance as it pertains to the Sarbanes Oxley Act and to ensure adherence to gerally accepted accounting principles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Audit and reconcile wide range of personned actions and payroll documents for more than 600 employees.
Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Coordinate with production on weekly/bi-weekly payroll reporting and balancing
Maintain company records and be audit compliant in all aspects of operation
Timekeeping/payroll responsibilities for Marshville complex
Work closely with Managers, Superviosrs and HR Personnel to ensure success of operations
Other duties as required by management and supervisor
1 to 2 years clerical accounting timekeeping and payroll experience preferred
Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
Must be able to examine and verify payroll documents and reports
Must be able to prepare a variety of reports and analyses
Must be detail oriented, be able to multitask, be organized, possess good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines is a must
Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and practices
Knoweledge of SAP, KRONOS, and Microsoft Office
Educational Requirements: High school diploma/GED/ Associates Degree or Bachelors preferred.
