Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives Leader
DescriptionThe Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives Leader has responsibility for implementing and promotingstrategic initiatives and change management in the Total Rewards COE withdirect management of the wellness, EAP, global recognition and global mobilityprograms. The Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives Leader will also act as a resource and liaison in the area of immigration andmanage HRs overall global role as it relates to the immigration process. The Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives Leader will also assist with other general HR and M&A projects as assigned. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Wellness & EAP The Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives Leader will have responsibility for the design,implementation, ongoing promotion, management, and evaluation of the employeewellness and EAP programs globally working in collaboration with IntegratedHealth Services and the Global Benefits COE. This will involve reviewing and building on existing programs forWellness and EAP. Cortevas goal is to establish a workplace culture of healthand wellness where employee well-being and business success are linked throughthe alignment of leadership, policies, programs, benefits and incentives in thework environment. He/she will also be responsible for the following: Recommend and design health& wellness and EAP programs globally (over 70 countries) based on employeerequirements and trends and developments in the marketplace.Develop and implement, incoordination with the Integrated Health Services, the Rewards COE, andcommunications resources, communications and marketing strategies for promotingprograms.Manage the delivery of globalwellness and EAP programs among employees, including exercise programs, stressreduction, health education, prevention promotion and management of chronicconditions and EAP services.Collaborate with HR leaders,medical leaders and other stakeholders to strategically integrate and promotewellness/EAP initiatives worldwide, chairing a Wellness and EAP Steering teamof these stakeholders.Develop and apply metrics toensure the effectiveness of benefits programs and ROI, and modify programsbased on results.Leverage existing relevantresources and programs including disease management programs, employeeassistance programs, and benefit plans.Manage relationships withexternal vendors to assist with the design and operation of the health &wellness and EAP programs.Leverage benefits andcorporate wellness vendors to support promotion of health in the community andto support programs to address identified risks. Global Mobility & Immigration The Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives Leader will have overall responsibility for the administration of the globalmobility program and will oversee the global mobility team in developing andexecuting policy and process, overseeing vendor services and performance and ensuringcompliance, governance, and recordkeeping. He/shewill also be responsible for the following: Ensurethe global mobility and international assignment guidelines and servicedelivery model align with Cortevas culture and optimize the employee experience.As a fast-paced, growth-oriented company, guidelines must be scalable, facilitatebusiness needs and help Corteva attract the best talent globally whilemaintaining compliance and a healthy balance between flexibility and consistency.Overseethe relationship with the relocation vendor; ensuring deadlines are met,pricing is competitive, service is exceptional.Actas a trusted advisor to our partners and the business. The Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives Leader will also serve as a resource for global immigration matters for HR partnersand will act as a liaison to internal and external Legal to ensure compliancewith all applicable legal requirements and to maintain a positive employeeexperience. The Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives Leader will further partner with Legal on training, retention and audit protocolsfor HR, especially as it relates to Form I-9s, visas and other requiredimmigration forms. He/she will also be responsible for the following: Workwith internal and outside immigration counsel to ensure timely processing andissue resolution.Promotecompliance with all immigration regulations.Remainsup-to-date on immigration-related matters and regulations. Global Recognition The Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives Leader will haveresponsibility for the design, implementation, promotion, management, andevaluation of the global recognition program working in collaboration with across-functional project team and in conjunction with ongoing corporateinitiatives. The goal of the Corteva program is to drive ROI by rewarding thosebehaviours and actions which drive business results. The Total Rewards Strategic Initiatives Leader will also work to establishconsistent and compliant service award programs, provide employees with asocial platform to recognize each other as peers, and obtain meaningfuldata/reporting. He/she will also be responsible for the following: Leadthe design and implementation of a global recognition platform for over 70countries based on market trends, internal data and stakeholder feedback.Collaboratewith key stakeholders to ensure recognition program reflects and drivescultural behaviours and values in order to maximize impact and results.Managedelivery of global platform services by monitoring platform metrics, includingbudget and recognition awarded in order to ensure effective and efficientprogram.Evaluateprogram based on established internal targets/metrics including survey results,number of employees recognized, etc.Collaborate with HR leadersand other people leaders to strategically integrate and promote globalrecognition.Createan effective change management and communication strategy for implementation ofthe program and for continued promotion of the program.QualificationsThesuccessful candidate will have at least 8+ years of relevant HRexperience with heavy focus in project management, total rewards and changemanagement. Demonstrated experience inleading, coordinating and delivering HR, benefits, rewards and compliance-basedprograms on a global scale in acomplex organization, with emphasis in program development.Proven ability in managingbudgeting, marketing and promotion activities.High degree of businessacumen, including an understanding of business strategies, competitivechallenges and the financial impact of HR decisions.Change management skills.Immigrationknowledge and experience covering temporary visas, permanent residencyprocesses, automated I9 systems and E-VerifyExperiencemanaging vendors to optimal productivity and performance.Abilityto demonstrate a deep knowledge of employment-based immigration.Exceptional ability toeffectively organize and prioritize work demands.Excellent interpersonalcommunication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate andinfluence others.Ability to work effectivelyboth independently and within a team with enthusiasm, initiative andcreativity.Computer proficiency in MSOffice programs including at minimum Word, Excel and Outlook. Education An undergraduate degree is required; a Masters degree is preferred.
