Trade & Compliance Business Analyst – #01GN4

Monsanto Global Procurement is looking for a Trade & Compliance Business Analyst to be responsible for driving Global Trade system optimization. The position will work closely with cross-functional teams ensuring that best in class Global Trade processes and systems are leveraged to drive value to Monsanto. The position will focus on continuous process improvement and development through execution of key Global Trade projects, balancing centralized/global needs with regional needs to optimize and automate GT systems. The GT Systems Business Analyst will play a key role in enabling systems adoption within the Global Trade organization. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses, and geographies to realize Global Trade requirements and objectives and how they can be met using systemsLead cross functional teams in challenging situations and build consensus to ensure teams are aligned with key Global Trade systems initiativesUse Global Trade systems tools (SAP, Trade Automation, etc.) to build and maintain reports that will fulfill the needs of the metrics used by Global TradeWork with Global Trade Leadership to ensure Global Trade???s requirements for import/export processes are accurately captured in the system designRepresents business unit requirements, business cases for Global Trade systems developmentSuccessfully partnering with Row Crops, Vegetables, Crop Protection operations and IT teams to understand requirements, and works on overall Global Trade process/system improvementsDevelop strong cross functional relationships with and communicate regularly to key stakeholders and Global Trade Leadership to ensure the long term success of process changes and system implementationsManage training coordination and coach colleagues on Global Trade tools and systems while focusing on the necessary change management that will need to be employedOversees and consults on the operational aspects of ongoing Global Trade projects and serves as liaison between project management, regional Global Trade teams and Global ITAbility to map out business processes, analyze and suggest opportunities for improvement via process changes or system enhancementsProvide ongoing support 'post-implementation??? to ensure system enhancements are realized and continue to meet the ever-changing Global Trade needsQualifications:Required Skills/Experience:Bachelor???s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related fieldSuccessful 3 + year track record in a trade compliance systems or trade operations related role.Comprehensive understanding of PO process, shipments/delivery, and/or Trade Compliance checksExperience with SAP or related systemStrong collaborative skills, positive attitude, high energyComfort and familiarity with constructing presentations, organization communications, and business casesStrong ability to build relationships and networks with multiple functions and at the leadership levelsStrong analytical capabilities and negotiation skillsBusiness acumen and strategic thinkingDesired Skills/Experience:Experience with automated trade systemsExperience working in the Ag industry
