Trade Execution Manager
Position Purpose &
SummaryProducts to be handled by the position are those operated by the
involved CASC BUs as well as those BUs to whom Trade Execution renders services

Manage multiple Trade Execution teams that handle export or import processes
for CASC enterprise DMS BU?s businesses in USA, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela,
Bolivia, Dominican Republic, etc., as well as other BUs in other platforms in
this region, guaranteeing the excellence of the execution, dealing with the own
team, third parties, governmental entities and other departments of the
organization, interacting with other parts of Trade Execution, both in the
region and abroad, maintaining the focus on the customer and guaranteeing
compliance to internal and external guiding principles and policies.
Be responsible for the excellence in execution of import and/or export flows,
which includes being aware of contractual terms, minimizing risks of the
execution (such as demurrage, penalties, defaults, delays on payments, etc.),
guaranteeing that purchase and sales contracts are reviewed to ensure they are
executable. Including managing work through CBS centers, driving delivery, and
partnering and managing relationships. Be in contact with traders, commercials,
controllers and other functional areas to provide the area with short-to-long
term plans. Guarantee the team is maintaining control of the open contracts
position, guaranteeing the contracts are timely executed, coordinating and
ensuring import and/or export licenses, pre-inspections requests and Phyto
permits, issuing documentary instructions according to contract terms and
specific country, goods or governmental requirements, coordinating and ensuring
issuance of pertinent shipping and export documents and certificates, dealing
with Letters of Credit, creating and coordinate invoices and payments.
Organize work flows of the group involving service providers and other teams in
a way to provide the company a safe and flawless execution of export and/or
import flows. Be aligned with the market trends for the export and/or import
procedures, use them to promote quality of the execution and share with the
team and colleagues as appropriate.
Work with local management on specific business unit issues, providing guidance
and leadership as needed and representing Trade Execution team on BUs projects.
Manage and develop MIS, TSF flows, compliance and controls related to trades
Required QualificationEducation (includes formal education, certifications, accreditations, etc.)University degree level.?Experience7 to 10 years of Experience in Trade Execution, logistics, supply chain, trading or similar.Fluent both in English and in Spanish.Skills (applied knowledge and technical skills directly related to this position)Negotiation skills,Conflict managementSkill with people of diverse maturity and hierarchy levels,Ability to maintain, create and modify procedures,Ability to interact with different areas inside and outside the organization.
