We currently have a Training Manager position available at our Plant facility in Moses Lake, WA.
Moses Lake offers a moderate climate along with numerous parks and recreational opportunities. SUMMARYProvides development, implementation, documentation, and project management support for Factory development and process training initiatives. Also provides technical support for Factory developmental processes. RESPONSIBILITIESDrives safety as a value.Supports development and management of Work Instructions, Job Aids, One Point Lessons, and Skills Matrix for facility programs and positions.Conducts needs assessments using a variety of methods (focus groups, surveys, etc.) with groups/divisions/locations to identify and prioritize .developmental needs and partners with business stakeholders to identify appropriate solutions.Contributes to the development of online and instructor-led, and task based learning solutions to support the implementation of business and factory initiatives.Monitors and owns training KPIs, annual goals, and strategy.Contributes to cross-functional teams exploring new technologies to address/identify gaps and provide for standardization and optimization.Responsible for supporting training for all facility pillars.Benchmarks learning and development strategies through industry best practices.Conducts and facilitates internal training programs including train the trainer, leadership development, task mastery development.Contributes to facility improvement methods training plan.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree from 4 year college or universityIndustrial manufacturing or production line experience. Food Safety, sanitation, and food industry experience is preferred. 5+ years' experience with learning design and/or technical documentation. Understanding of Adult Learning Theory or similar theories/concepts and instructional design methodology/concepts. Six Sigma Green Belt preferred and required within the first year. Adheres to all standards, policies and systems as appropriate.
