Transaction Specialist

The Transaction Specialist will serve as the liaison for all customer service and support related services to customers, sales representatives, and field sales personnel business objectives.   Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide high-level customer service to internal and external customersEffectively and efficiently resolve issues presented by internal and external customers using problem solving skillsPromote Business direction while implementing best practices regarding all aspects of support servicesActively support teammates to ensure a high level of performance is delivered.Collaborate with outside vendors on pricing, materials and delivery                                                                                                                                 Work with all relevant internal and external  systems including R3, InfoPoint Portal Reporting System, SharePoint, NASNet, Excel, FIS2010 Central Version, Access Database, Connex, Web Developer tool, Encirca Services, MS Word, Espree and Adobe PhotoshopContinue to develop professionally by remaining current with new technologies Respond and initiate process discussions with key stakeholders through effective questioning, doing necessary research, and utilizing problem resolution skills to effectively resolve issues. Serve as experts in assigned core tasks, effectively communicate and coach team members and other business contacts by maintaining a detailed knowledge and understanding of sales programs, process guidelines and deadlines. Respond to inquiries regarding account balances/statements/refundsProcess customer refunds and correct invoicing errorsProcess all invoice documentation sent to the C&SS mailbox Monitor and Reconciliation of field sign budget and SLV applicator budget  Calculate and request commission payments and payments for seed incentive programs; respond to inquiries regarding sales commissions, doing necessary research and making and documenting any necessary corrections to the account  Calculate and process sales rep charges/creditsQualifications:Education – Bachelor's or Associates degree in business or accounting preferred; relevant customer service experiences a significant plus.   Experience ??? 2-3 years related experience in customer service, accounting, bookkeeping, etc.Strong customer service experience.Demonstrated knowledge of agriculture. Ability to learn the seed and crop protection business as it relates to the support of the Sales and customers.PC experience with basic skills in different software applications (Excel, Word, ACCESS, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience with basic accounting skills.Demonstrated ability to prepare standard business correspondence.Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload and manage in a multi-task environment.Strong communication skills (including telephone, e-mail and presentations skills) and ability to communicate accurate information.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with diverse groups of people with the ability to analyze and solve problems in an empowered, self directed/managed work environment. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to communicate policies and procedures in a positive manner.Demonstrated ability to recognize process improvement opportunities and effectively communicate and implement change. Core CompetenciesCustomer Orientation: Builds rapport and cooperative relationships with customers.
