For further information on Agricultural Productswith BASF, please select: BASF: Create Chemistry with the Agricultural ProductsDivision As a Turf Sales Representative, you willbe responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives in the Turfand Ornamental market, while developing customer business relationships thatcreate long term value for BASF and our customers. You will also be responsible forimplementation and execution of field tactical activities that maintain andgrow our product portfolio. In addition,you will function as BASF?s face to our customers, as well as many other marketinfluencers and industry partners. You will live within and manage aterritory that consists of CA, UT, NV, and HI, traveling up to 75% of the time. You will be required to live in CA and support your territory.Formulafor SuccessLeveragingyour Bachelor's Degree and agronomic industry experience (ex: Turf & Ornamentalsand/or Agricultural Products and/or Lawn Care &Maintenance and/or related disciplines), you will grow our market and product portfolio through promotinginnovations, creating solutions for customers and effectively executing fieldactivities.Striving for excellence, you willdevelop a professional and personal skill set that will positively impactbusiness strategy and growth.Yourprevious direct sales experience (Turf Superintendent, Lawncare and/orOrnamental experience will be considered in lieu of direct sales experience)and formal sales training courses will aid you in managing a Sales Territory toachieve yearly sales goals within assigned budgets.Demonstratingyour strong customer focus and entrepreneurial skills, you will build andcultivate strong business relationships with key end users and maintain aworking profile of opportunities with each end user.Utilizingyour account/territory management/planning experience, you will support andutilize a distribution network to increase sales throughout your territory.Your Sales/Marketing experience in Turf &Ornamentals and/or Pest Management markets will serve you well as you presentand administer marketing programs to end users and participate in special salesand marketing projects.Yourexcellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence will bevalued assets as you provide biology and product training to key end users anddistribution network.Effectivelycommunicating across the business, you will report top opportunities through astrategic monthly review.Create Your Own Chemistry: What WeOffer YouAddingvalue to our customers begins with adding value to you.
