QUALIFICATIONS: – Bachelors Degree in Agri-Business, Animal Science, or Related field- 5+ years experience in Animal Nutrition Sales with a demonstrated focus on swine- Demonstrated consistent sales performance with year-over-year results that meet or exceed annual sales targets- In-depth understanding of the U.S. Swine Nutrition Market and competitive landscape- Excellent written and verbal communications skills; a skilled presenter JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established AG Employer in their search for a U.S. Swine Specialist. This proven sales leader will serve as a Business Development Manager to leverage their sales and client services skills to enhance the Company's growth objectives in new and existing markets. Other responsibilities include:RESPONSIBILITIES:- Consistently demonstrate the ability to exceed annual sales performance targets- Maintain accurate customer and vendor profiles and that identify key priorities for each- Develop a strategic plan, market forecast, and budgeting for the swine species line- Identify industry opportunities and satisfy client needs and pain-points- Utilize strong time management and goal setting skills to develop a strategic work and travel plan to enhance key customer relationships while developing potential new client pipelines.- Conduct species specific training as requested- Evaluate and report on industry developments and the competitive landscape- Maintain regulatory requirements and support the implementation of new regulations and safety requirements.
