We areseeking a motivated US Commercial Rotational Intern. This position is a developmentopportunity designed to teach the skills and knowledge necessary to become ahigh-performing team member within our Commercial organization. Throughoutthree consecutive summer internships students, will encounter challengingassignments and hands-on experiences within our customer care, seedproduction/manufacturing and sales business.  Eachsummer is an intensive 10-12 week (May-Aug) learning experience where internswill have the ability to make an immediate impact by applying coursework andpervious experiences to a variety of individual work assignments and team-basedprojects.  Summer I – US Customer CareThefirst summer is spent in St. Louis, MO asCustomer Care Intern and will provide a solid business foundation andunderstanding of the Customer Care organization.  KeyResponsibilities: Partnerwith the Operations team to provide exceptional service and foundationalsupport to customers and Field Sales TeamsUtilization of systems,tools and processes, and internal relationships to efficiently and accuratelyfacilitate the order, supply management, and delivery processesPartnerwith other stakeholders to understand the status of accounts and problem solveto ensure accurate account reconciliation  Summer II – SeedProduction/Manufacturing The secondsummer is spent at a North American seed production facility as a SeedProduction Intern. This rotation provides an in-depth understanding of seedproduction/manufacturing.   Key Responsibilities: Receivingand counting product returns (bagging/re-bagging)ReworkingproductQualitysampling and testing FieldinspectionsPollination,detasseling, and flaming Summer III – Field SalesThe thirdand final summer is spent in a sales territory in the US as a Field Sales Interns.  At the end ofthe assignment the interns will have been trained on how to sell and coachedthroughout the summer to fine tune sales skills. Key Responsibilities: Work withlocal sales teams to understand and support the sales of the following productsand services: Seeds & Traits, Crop Protection, & Digital Farming Completelocalized marketing project to further knowledge of our products to the localteams, dealers, and farmersDeveloprelationships with farmers and dealers to learn how to effectively identify andmeet their needsGains strongbase of product and agronomic knowledge to assist with product placements andevaluationUponsuccessful completion of all three rotations, interns will be offered theopportunity to interview for a wide variety of entry level roles throughout theUS Commercial organization.  Qualifications:Required Skills/Experiences: Rising sophomore (completed freshman year) pursing bachelor???s businessdegree or agriculture related degreeAbility to commit to 3 consecutive summer internships (May-August) Ability to build relationships and work well in a team basedenvironmentAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of theorganizationSelf motivated with a strong results orientation. Demonstratedability to manage a deadline while being able to focus on detailsDemonstrated leadership ability. Desire to learn and willing to ask questions and able to adapt to changeWillingnessand ability to relocate for the internship experienceMust have valid driver???s license and transportation as some sitesare located in areas without public transportation (Seed Production)Ability totravel/drive throughout territory on a daily basis; company vehicle provided(Sales) Ability tolift a 60 pound bag of seedBayersuccessfully completed the acquisition of Monsanto in June 2018, bringingtogether Monsanto???s leadership in seeds and plant traits with Bayer???sleadership in chemical and biological crop protection.
