Position Purpose & Summary?Resource for the implementation and execution for regulated and non-regulated processes including ammonia, boilers, rendering, biogas and any other highly hazardous processes. Ensure consistent development and implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) expectations and standards. Provide instruction and direction to multiple facility locations for utility operations and support.?Typical Day:?Support daily operation activities for utility assets, provide technical expertise for equipment reliability strategies.Assist in leading compliance audits and support follow-up actions for audits, continuous improvement or investigations.Participate in capital projects and startup/ commissioning activities.Critical thinker to serve as a resource for troubleshooting and investigation efforts.?Principal Accountabilities?40% – Utility Maintenance and Technical Operations:?Facilitate implementation and execution of site utility reliability and maintenance in coordination with site Process Safety Management (PSM) programs. Assist facilities with management of the PSM program by providing direction and technical expertise to the facility?s PSM Coordinator, Safety Teams, Utility Teams. Integrate knowledge of refrigeration operations and maintenance into PSM implementation. Serve as a resource in leading and aligning capital projects and Management of Change processes. Follow-through on capital projects by serving as a commissioning and startup resource.?25% – Auditing, Regulatory and Insurance Compliance:?Participate and lead compliance audits and Process Hazard Assessments (PHAs). Align strategies by working closely with sites and Cargill Protein Group (CPG) Maintenance and Reliability roles. Serve as a fire system and insurance inspection leader for facilities and assist in technical knowledge for action closure by working with Technical Safety Program Leaders.???15% – Asset Maintenance and Mechanical Integrity:?Facilitate strategies for asset health and reliability improvement for utilities equipment. Serve as a technical expert with asset inspections and follow-up actions from inspection findings. Assist in managing long-term priorities to ensure stable operations through maintenance and reliability.??15% – Incident Investigation and Continuous Improvement:? Lead incident investigations and follow-up corrective action prioritization and closure for facilities. Identify actions and initiatives that could be used for improvement of all Cargill Protein utility teams.??5% – Talent Management and Leadership:?Coach and mentor talent within utility teams to help lead and develop human assets. Participate in industry organizations to benchmark and influence industry improvements.Other relevant information to the positionMeet and report updates to corporate engineering leads on progress for development, implementation and execution of PSM program elements and accountabilities.? Participate in Cargill Global standard creation and industry standards updates through industry contacts and conferences. Assist in aligning standards, expectations and program implementation for CMS.??Career development opportunities can be quite diverse depending on an individual?s area of interest and abilities along with demonstrated success to execute job functions.
