In addition, Zoetis will never ask candidates to make any type of personal financial investment related to gaining employment with Zoetis.Role DescriptionReporting into the Executive Vice President & Chief Digital and Technology Officer, the Vice President, ITS Operations will be responsible for helping set strategic direction and overseeing day to day activities to meet customer and colleague requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. This position manages members of the ITS team, directly and indirectly, and is responsible for the performance management, development and hiring of team members.Responsibilities* As a member of the global ITS senior management team, make a key contribution to the formulation of the company”s IT strategy* Proactively advise the ITS management team on the emerging technologies and digital trends* Help define priorities and risks for enterprise-wide IT initiatives to maximize the return on investment across the following functional areas; Research & Development, Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, Finance & Shared Services, and Human Resources* Direct and lead the analysis of complex business needs presented, and recommend appropriate business/technical solutions* Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions* Advise IT operations in executing tasks and projects according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds expectations* Implement effective project controls by monitoring the progress of systems implementations and releases reporting the status appropriate for the scope of the system* Able to engage at all levels of the IT organization* Ensure colleagues are satisfied with IT services through effective use of surveys and other feedback mechanismsQualifications* Bachelor”s degree, ideally in computer science, is required; a Master”s degree in a technical or relevant functional discipline (finance, business, etc.) is preferred* 15+ years of relevant experience in global environment with 10 years in an IT leadership role* Ability to create a clear strategic technology vision and roadmap* Experience in IT infrastructure design, build, and support* Experience with software development supporting commercial operations, manufacturing & supply chain, research & development, finance & shared services* Deep experience with SAP ERP, Hybris e-Commerce, Salesforce CRM & marketing automation* Excellent project management skills* Excellent vendor negotiation skills* Strong customer orientation* Ability to lead and promote a team environment* Documentation and communication skills to communicate technical information to non-technical people* Demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter and work with minimal direction* Exceptional communication skills and ability to accomplish objectives across departments, organizations and levels within the organization* Working experience in life sciences / medical devices preferredApply for this job.
