As the Lead, the incumbent must be able to fully understand the current state and then provide fresh perspectives with solutions that challenge the status quo. Under minimal supervision, the candidate manages and executes multi-departmental and global business integration projects across the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for working and indirectly managing integration team members along with providing global strategic leadership to improve the overall effectiveness of the integration effort. They will work with teams of colleagues over whom there may be no organizational authority to ensure business transactions are integrated on time and within budget. The incumbent will have outstanding communication skills with the ability to provide periodic updates to Senior Leaders across Zoetis and to the Board of Directors. This position reports to the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.

* Work cross-functionally within the organization and the management team to drive deal closure and ensure proper integration across the appropriate functional areas * Collaborate with business and functional leaders to align the integration to the acquisition strategy * Manage cross-functional teams delivery and ensure that they meet expected financial and business transaction outcomes by successfully achieving integration milestones and objectives. Integration projects will often be new where little or no precedent may exist and will require engagement with and accountability to both executive leadership as well as departmental leaders across Zoetis.
* Execute strategy through various team projects and oversight. Effectively utilize tools to communicate project status, critical path items, gaps, and key milestones. Develop and utilize communication tools to provide tracking and analysis of key items/capabilities contributing to timeline gaps, reducing decision cycle time. * Investigate innovative ideas for improvements and solutions to problems with high potential business impact and across a wide breadth of business processes when executing solutions to completion on time and within budget * Build relationships and networks to link ideas and people that might not otherwise interact. Help teams align creativity with feasibility and execution. Work with multiple team structures, help teams turn ideas into reality. * Establish productive plans for ideas with the ability to thrive on change and to inspire others to be comfortable with ambiguity and change. * Facilitate development and implementation of dashboards and key performance indicators for business processes and deliverables. Present proposals and recommendations with confidence and appropriate level of detail to all levels of the organization. * Ensure oversight of document control, records management, assurance that procedures and facilities follow corporate and regulatory requirements * Ability to influence and manage stakeholders across the organization; including direct engagement and communication with the Zoetis Board of Directors. * May perform other duties as assigned.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSThis position interfaces with all groups across Zoetis including but not limited to business development, commercial, communications, finance, human resources, legal, manufacturing, research, strategy.
RESOURCES MANAGED Resources are assigned to project(s) by departments and/or businesses. Typical projects involve colleagues, contingent workers/contractors, external vendors and other external resources, as required. This position provides project management leadership and coordination. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of a bachelor”s degree, required; MBA or master”s degree, preferred; Degree(s) in business, finance or related discipline is preferred * Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with increasing levels of responsibility in business, finance or systems management required * Work experience in Animal Health/Life Sciences industry or related industry, preferred * Project Management Professional Certification highly desired
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS * Track record of data-based decision making and driving positive outcomes as a project manager * Proven experience in the ability to understand wide-ranging business proposals in depth * Demonstrated experience leading cross functional project teams in a matrix environment * Ability to influence senior leaders and produce well thought out and complete decision materials. Adept at operating cross-functionally and managing a complex matrix set of stakeholders. Demonstrates an ability to work across various cultures and geographies. * Highly analytical and creative problem solver with ability to execute ideas and stay focused on the end goal * Flexible and adaptive with the ability
