?COMPANY: GAPS FSHIRING MANAGER: Rob BlackwellLOCATION: Middleton, MI?PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT?Provides management, supervision, and leadership for the designated facility, inventory, and the assigned personnel. Provides customer service in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction, maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization.??SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP?Provides leadership and supervision for facility operations staff. Conducts interviews, hires, and performance reviews for facility personnel.??ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS?Manages product inventory, ordering, and month end reporting procedures?Operates product blending equipment and loading / unloading equipment?Plans, organizes, directs, and schedules personnel work assignments and product batching sequences?Performs equipment and machinery preventative maintenance, trouble-shooting, and maintenance?Completes customer delivery tickets, billing information, and invoices??OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS?Trains, coaches, counsels, disciplines, and evaluates employees to effectively develop individual talents and a team of professionalsAssists with the development of the company budgetSupports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts?Responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle according to company standards, adheres to the uniform policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image?Follows GROWMARK?s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply?Performs all other duties as assigned??REQUIREMENTS?Normally requires an Associate?s degree in an applicable field, or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of fertilizer facility operations and equipment operations?Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development?Prefer a general understanding of GROWMARK agronomy facility operations???????????Must obtain/have and maintain a valid CDL driver?s license with applicable endorsements, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to work extended hours during peak production timesFrequently or continuously exposed or required to work in conditions that may include:Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, snow, ice, etc.)Noisy conditionsMay include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measuresMay be required to work at varying heightsConfined spacesLifting 51-70 lbs Demonstrates the ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK?s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.?Apply for this job.
