SUMMARY/PURPOSE:Establish and manage process flows, projects, personnel and equipment which is related to the warehouse located in Washington, as well as ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Responsible for receiving and repacking seed/steck harvested, coordinating staging for various processing operations, and picking and shipping of product. Order and maintain consumable materials for the warehouse.Supervise and direct the purchasing and distribution of materials for all non-seed goods.Ensure package quality standards are met or exceeded. This includes maintaining steck health and steck/seed integrity.Organize and lead multiple shift teams throughout the processing year.Organize and maintain inventory and storage area ensuring all inventory transactions, shipments, and process flows are accurate and efficient.Use SAP to maintain records, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status.Determine and manage staffing levels and assign workloads.Support other department as needed (including but not limited to seed production field maintenance and steck nursery planting).Ensure Company handbook, Rules,Guidelines, Procedures, and safety policies are followed and personal protective equipment is used correctly.Travel and/or drive and/or operate a forklift on behalf of the business.Meet attendance requirements.Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent relevant work experience).Ability to effectively and efficiently lead a team.Ability to use multiple inventory/warehousing/shipping system programs including but not limited to SAP.Intermediate knowledge of MS applications.High mechanical knowledge and strong technical skills.Ability to become forklift certified.Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of warehouse and/or process flow experienceExperience and education in agricultureSAP experienceAbility to obtain a CDLFluent in English and Spanish WORKING ENVIRONMENT:Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as needed. Work in high and precarious places and able to cover multiple areas including staircases safely and quickly. Able to work in varied environmental conditions (loud, hot, cold, dusty, damp, etc.). Flexibility to work rotating shifts as needed (including weekend, night shift, and holidays). Ability to work individually and within a team setting. Travel as needed which may include travel to other production areas, which will involve over nights.
