Position Summary: Reports to the Warehouse ManagerDirects warehouse personnel to coordinate and supervise loading and unloading operations, including trailer inspectionsAssists in implementation of any new warehouse initiativesProvides full support to the EHS Coordinator to ensure a safe work place
Job Responsibilities: Ensure an attitude of safety consciousness throughout the warehouseEnforce all Safety rules through safety observationsAssist EHS Coordinator with meeting all safety requirements (training, data input)Conducts monthly Safety audits, JCC?s, and VBS observationsProvides direct daily supervision to ensure a safe clean and efficient operation of the warehouseAssists in training and motivating of personnel for increased effectivenessCoordinates loading and unloading operations of both inbound and outbound shipmentsEnsures product is stored and stacked in the most efficient mannerMakes recommendations to the warehouse manager on initiatives to improve warehouse operationsProvides leadership regarding bar code problem solvingDirects work force to achieve maximum efficiencyApplies sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and disciplining subordinates ?Coach and Counseling Style?Leads by setting the good exampleEnsures the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipmentUses the bar code system to prepare monthly reports on a timely mannerReports for monthly meetings will require, Power Point, Excel, and Microsoft wordEnsures damage to product, equipment and the facility are preventedEnsures compliance to OSHA standards GMP regulations, and standard operating proceduresEnsures accuracy on all inbound / outbound shipmentsAssists Manager in evaluating space utilization and suggest methods of improvementCoordinates the relocation and consolidation of product as requiredConduct cycle counts of warehouse inventory Job Requirements: Previous supervisory/safety leadership experience is strongly preferredImpact, RCI, and Gemini experience is preferred
