Insight?FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.?PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT?Responsible for convenience store operations during a scheduled shift in the absence of the Store Manager or an Assistant Store Manager.??SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP?In the absence of the Convenience Store Manager and an Assistant Store Manager supervises and leads the store associates during the assigned shift.??ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS?Provide leadership within the convenience store during scheduled weekend shifts.? Note: This position is a PT Weekend position and does not include weekday hours.Responsible to open and/or close the store during scheduled weekend shifts and follow all company policies and procedures relating to store opening and closing.Receive direction from Store Manager or an Assistant Manager concerning daily duties and activities to be completed.Provide customer service and handle any concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.Ensure store is kept clean, adequately stocked, organized, and prepared for the day?s business.?Ensure merchandise displays are attractive, correctly priced, and displayed in a safe manner.Complete daily paperwork and computer entries in a timely manner as directed by store management.?Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs during each shift.Communicate and perform price change requests, mark downs/ups as directed by store management.Enforce safety and security issues and report any unsafe conditions.Report and process employee and/ or customer incidents or accidents.Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco products.?OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS?Follows GROWMARK?s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.?Enforce all company policies and established store procedures.May be required to drive and run local errands as needed.?Performs all other duties as assigned.??REQUIREMENTS?Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and related work experience to demonstrate the ability to lead a team of store associates and interact with customers during a scheduled shift.May be required to achieve and maintain a Sanitation Certificate. ?Occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions.May be required to work at varying heights.Frequently required to lift 21-50 lbs.?Must be of legal age and legally able to handle and sell tobacco and alcohol merchandise in the store.?Ability to work hours other than those considered “normal”.Must have and maintain a valid driver?s license and satisfactory driving record.?Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.?Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK?s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.??We are an equal opportunity employer, including protected veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities.
