Working Shop Foreman
Repairs machines to the customer?s satisfaction in the shop.? Removes, installs, repairs, disassembles, assembles, performs failure analyses of all CLAAS equipment including engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, electronic and computer applications, heating and air conditioning (HVAC).? Assist with the oversight of fellow service technicians in time of need, assist Service Manager in assigning work to maintain highest of efficiencies.? Supports and assists parts procurement to service department needs for maximum turnaround of equipment repairs.Main Accountabilities and Essential FunctionsStrong focus on customer service and customer interaction? Troubleshoot and repair customer machines at customer jobsitesUse Various Manufacturers systems to order parts, troubleshoot machine systems and research problemsMachinery InspectionMachinery Set-Up and AdjustmentGoal of at least 50% of clock time to Revenue LaborMaintain under 25% of clock time to supervise other techniciansMaintain under 25% of clock time assisting parts department procuring parts for service department projectsUse laptop to enter labor, fill out service reports and complete warranty reportsUse service manuals and parts books to look up specs and parts for repairsResponsible for ensuring the location and building are secured during non-business hoursAdheres to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follows and supports compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations and standards.
